This month's location is historic for two reasons. It was built in 1919 to house the Central Wharf Tea Company. And just a few years back, it was the home of infamous dive bar Jose McIntyre's. But baby's all grown up now. Come check out what a top-to-bottom makeover can do.
GBTQ men in their gay thirties (or at least over their roaring twenties) are a distinct social group. We want nights out on the town and good times with friends. We don't want to stand in line or navigate sticky dive bars. The Fellows is a new, monthly gathering (with offshoot events) that seeks to better serve Bostonian men in their gay thirties.
No need to play a sport, buy a membership, or find a clique. You're a Fellow, and you're welcome. More on The Fellows here.
The Welcoming Committee creates communities of LGBTQs and takes them places beyond the gay bar. It all started in Boston in 2007 with our monthly Guerrilla Queer Bar. Now, The Welcoming Committee is an events and travel company with a volunteer element in 10 cities across the U.S.
